Purple Patch

Purple
No wonder Cadbury is forging head with its colour purple trade mark issue considering the (golden) rough year they've had so far.

As reported by Business Communications Management earlier this year, the suit against Darrell Lee and Nestle over the battle royal by Cadbury to trademark 'purple' has not been going well with a verdict expected soon on July's appeal.

Further bad news for Cadbury has meant good news for chocoholics in the UK as the fall out from the installation of new inventory management software was felt earlier this year.

A software glitch caused too many chocolate bars to be produced earlier this year forcing the manufacturer to discount to an unreceptive post-New Year's resolution market.

But that's the way the violet crumbles...
